Hotel Jaisalgarh affords a grand view of Jaisalmer Fort. The Hotel is designed like a castle in the sandy terrain of Jaisalmer. All exterior is done with Honey-coloured stones called Jaisalmer stones. Each stone is hand carved and the hotel���s architecture includes several other elements of traditional Jaisalmer style such as ���Jharokhas��� (carved balconies), sit-in chhatris (pavilion with domes) and jaalis (latticed screens). |
